The Investment Immigration Program is an investment immigration program monitored and implemented by the Singapore Economic Development Board.

Description
Those interested in starting a business or investing in Singapore can apply for Singapore Permanent Residency (PR) through the Global Business Investor Program (GIP).
Applicants must meet the conditions to be eligible to apply as a Singapore Permanent Resident through this program.
Petition form
  • Senior business owner: no less than three years of entrepreneurship and business experience. Holding a 30% stake in a privately owned company and operating a company with a turnover of S$200 million or more in the most recent year.
  • Next-Generation Business Owners: Immediate family members must own at least 30% of the company you are filing for this plan, or be the largest shareholder. The company must have a turnover of S$500 million or more in the most recent year.
  • Founder of a fast-growing company: The founder and one of the largest individual shareholders of a company with a valuation of not less than S$500 million. The company must be invested by a reputable venture capital firm or private equity firm.
  • The person in charge of the family office: have no less than 5 years of entrepreneurial, investment or management experience, and have at least S$200 million in net investable assets.

Investment program
  • Invest not less than S$2.5 million in a Global Business Investor Scheme fund that invests primarily in Singaporean companies or
  • Applicants are required to invest not less than SGD 2.5 million to establish a new business entity or expand an existing business operation or
  • Invest not less than S$2.5 million in a new or existing single-family office established in Singapore, which must manage assets of not less than S$200 million.
